This Summer...

I have been venturing into painting intuitively...which means I put color on paper and then look for the design within and the message it brings to me...I will share some here with you...others are very personal and will remain close to my heart...All of these paintings below are done with acrylics and oil pastel...


FREEDOM

She would no longer stand in the darkness...
the sun and wind would now carry her...
carry her to her dreams...
carry her to her feminine...
carry her to her love....
carry her to her heart...
carry her to her freedom

 

 

TRANSFORMED

 

She started out soft and light...

gentle strokes moving across the paper...

and when she appeared she transformed...

changing herself to bold and beautiful and strong...

she felt the vibrations of creativity all around her...

let go and be wild she whispered....

feel the wings on your shoulders....

there is nothing to fear...

 

 

 

 

SHE DANCED

 

She danced...

she kicked up her heels and spun around....

laughter breaking all around her...

freedom felt good on her....

she danced a dance for herself...

 

 

 

 

MOTHER NATURE

 

She surrounds me with her brilliant colors....

sun rises...

sun sets....

rain...snow...sun....

she brings the flowers of growth my way.

she watches over all creatures of earth....

she calms me on a warm day with her soft breeze

and sweet bird songs...

 

 

WHERE AM I?

 

I am in the garden of life....

I am dreaming big dreams...

I am growing from the inside out....

I am believing in myself....

I am trusting the process...

I am loved by myself and many...

I am content...

I am happy...

my heart feels whole.

 

 

 

 

 

INTUITION

 

Pause and be aware....

get out of your head and into your heart...

feel free and full of love....

feel the echoes of your heart beat...the stirrings of your soul...

feel the heat of your passion for paint and paper and words....

pause and be aware....

allow yourself to rise and take flight with your intuition.

 

 

 

 

RELEASE

 

release...release....release...

you have learned the lessons....

release....release...release...

.let it go...do not carry it with you anymore...

something's you may not understand the whys of...

but you can choose to let it go anyway...

release...release...release...

say good-bye and move forward.

 

 







 

 



 





she knew...

 

there are moments in the day when I feel them with me...by my side...and it is at that moment when I feel their hearts close to mine...whispering I LOVE YOU.

peace...

 

digging in the earth and watching as the flowers grew she felt at peace...she felt it more often now...allowing her to realize that she was growing too.

spirit...

 

lightly fluttering around me I feel their presence....they watch over me and keep me safe...gently I reach out to touch them...they are just beyond my reach...my heart knows they are there...

Mother Earth...

I have been doing quite a few paintings on Motherhood...this one came today and I wanted to share it and the words that came with it...

 



 

 

MOTHER EARTH...

 

With love and gratitude I thank you for this day...

 

From the East you bring a new day....to illuminate me...to awaken me...may I be aware to be present to the gift of today.

 

From the South you bring the warmth...to show me my heart and my creativity...may I be aware of the joy of today.

 

From the West you bring the evening....you show me compassion...may I be aware of the knowing's of the day and to rest.

 

From the North you bring the light and goodness...you show me perspectives...may I be aware of my path today.

 

Mother Earth I thank you for enfolding me and providing for my creativity and my peace. 

always connected...

 

No matter what....there will always be a connection between people and emotions...there is nothing that can change that connection unless you let it...some connections are felt and not seen...some connections are seen and not felt...some connections are both...the choice is yours.

 

What connection do you feel today?

I am in the garden of my life....growing...dreaming...believing...trusting...loved...happy...knowing in my heart that this is how I flourish...

I have been celebrating the feminine by taking a class: Painting the Feminine with Connie Solera.  They have been opening me up to a different style of painting...and giving me different messages. I am going to share a couple with you now...

SHE APPEARED FLYING ON WINGS

there was paint....then more paint...water...fingers ...walking away...
searching...listening to my feminine soul...
there was more paint...more water...more fingers...
and then she appeared flying in on wings...

she had walked thru many forests in her years...
some were very dark and fearful...others she wandered
around in...but she always emerged on the other side...
sooner or later...
she knows that life is like that...forests and sunshine both helping
her to grow...
But at 64
She is open...
She sees her perception...
She speaks with expression...
She knows her love...
She honors her power...
She accepts her feminine...
She survives.

 

 

WHO AM I?

 

I am the women who is no longer afraid to peel back the layers...

I am the women who reaches for my dreams...

I am the women who uncaged her heart...

I am the women who paints and writes my truth...

I am the women who has found her wings...

I am the women with love in her heart instead of fear...

I am a strong...creative...intelligent...rooted...feminine women.

there they are...my dreams...the ones I pushed back...pushed aside...gave up on as I concentrated on everyone but myself...

there they are...my dreams...reappearing as I reawaken.

there are times when you can feel your growth...big and bold...shooting upward.

 

there are times when it whispers a softness of newness...

 

there are times when you are not even aware of your growth...

 

BUT...you are always growing.

There is that moment...when you know...when you feel your life force expanding and rising...and at that moment you must celebrate who you are...what you do...your gifts...your beauty...celebrate love, with affection, affirmation, validation for all of your abundance...Celebrate YOU!

The message came across my email..."connect the dots"...I am aware to connect the past with the present ...aware that all have made me the person that I am today...aware that my heart is full of gratitude for all that has transpired in my life...both the light and the dark...today, I connect all the dots and feel full...

STOP...Light a candle...BREATHE...LISTEN...

Listen to the softness...right below the surface...Fill yourself up with it and carry it throughout the day...

 

Can you hear the softness of your day?

new beginnings...

 

New beginnings...I often think of the sadness when it appears that things are ending...coming to a close...being finished...today, I am resting with that thought...I am seeing that often when things close you are open to starting a new beginning...that you have space that can be filled with all sorts of possibilities...and that those things that appear to be ending will stay in your heart as you move forward...

 

What new beginning can you be aware of today for yourself?

be...full of hope...

be full of hope...that is how it must begin...hold it in your heart...when you have hope you have faith...when you have faith you can see change...staying full of hope is your power when you feel you have none...

What do you need to be full of hope for today?

be...positive...

Sometimes life can seem messy...but rather than clinging to the negative I must see the positive...rather than holding onto an idea of what things should look like I must let go and accept things as there truly are...that messy can be beautiful too if I take a moment to breath in the beauty of it and be positive...

What do you need to be more positive about today?

flying lessons...

 

As I reflect on this week I feel a sense of knowing...knowing that I am learning my flying lessons...I am not repeating old patterns....I am moving forward with the love I receive...that heart beats will always exist regardless of time and space...that if you tuck the love away instead of the hurt you are learning your flying lesson...

 

What flying lesson are you aware of?

move forward...

 

Move forward...spread your wings...release what others' think of you...be dedicated to yourself by following your own heart...you are not leaving...rather you are consciously allowing yourself to move forward with gratitude in your heart for the love you once received...
How can you move forward today?

never broken...

 

There are bonds that time and space can never break...a joining of heart beats that will always exist...a birth that can never be broken regardless of whatever else may be going on...

 

What bond do you know that can never be broken?

choose love...you will survive...

 

There are going to be moments like these...where you have to tuck things into your heart to keep them safe...to keep yourself safe...but that is OK...You will survive...especially when you tuck the love away instead of the hurt....you've learned this lesson...and although it is hard right now...you know much more than you ever did before...choose love...you will survive...
